Clone of International cooperation

IRSN is a “Technical Safety Organisation” (TSO) operating scientific partnerships and providing scientific cooperation, nuclear safety, security and radiation protection services in 49 countries, in the framework of bilateral agreements or of multinational consortia agreements, under the auspices of the EU, of NEA or of the TSO Networks (ETSON in Europe), or in cooperation with IAEA.

IRSN is also a founding member or a partner, through its contributing experts and its financial support, in multiple specialized organizations and networks.

Corporate ETSON

The main task of technical safety organisations (TSOs) is to assess the safety of nuclear installations and radiological risks on a scientific basis. But that's not all. Now part of the Etson network, they are also involved in research, future choices, training and public outreach.

European and International Affairs Division (DAEI)

The DAEI is tasked with implementing IRSN's general strategy with regard to bilateral relations, in Europe and worldwide, as well as to cooperation with European and international multilateral organisations. In addition, DAEI contributes to strengthen the position of the Institute's international expert in safety, security and radiation protection, and also to promote and manage the IRSN's commercial offer of services in the context of calls for tenders or over-the-counter contracts.

BU-DCI

A team responsible for promoting and managing the Institute's commercial offer of services to clients in the context of invitations to tender or private contracts, and for promoting our expertise to a wide range of international clients.
